Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. Krannert Center for the Performing Arts is dedicated to the advancement of education, research, and public engagement through the pursuit of excellence and innovation in the performing arts. Embracing the art of the past as well as the art of our time, the Center supports the belief that creativity is a core human characteristic and that the arts hold uniquely transformative potential. Through its multiple and integrated roles as classroom, laboratory, and public square, Krannert Center serves as a touchstone for the exploration and expansion of human experience.

An outstanding collection of pre-Columbian art in the University's Krannert Art Museum provides unusual opportunities for study and research in art and archaeology.

LAS' Off-campus Programs
The site gives information that is frequently requested by faculty/staff taking students off-campus and it provides requisite sample forms for ensuring that participants understand their responsibility in off-campus activity.

Latin American & Caribbean Library University of Illinois
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign boasts one of the premier library systems in the world. With over 13 million holdings, it is the largest public academic library in the United States and the third largest library in the country, surpassed in volume only by the Library of Congress and Harvard University Libraries. The Latin American and Caribbean Studies collection at Illinois is also considered to be one of the strongest in the nation. With more than 993,000 volumes and close to 300 serials from Latin America in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Quechua and several other indigenous and European languages, our collection ranks in the top five collections nationwide and is the largest in the Midwest. Mi Pueblo at UIUC
Mi Pueblo is a student-run network of Spanish conversation groups. This means that U of I students volunteer their time to lead 1-hour sessions in Spanish at different times and places around campus every week. Groups also get together throughout the semester for cultural events. Mi Pueblo groups are NOT Spanish lessons. You must have some previous experience learning the language. If you would like to start learning Spanish, please register for classes through the UIUC Spanish Department. Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations (OIIR). The Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations (OIIR), part of Student Affairs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is dedicated to recruiting and retaining underrepresented students, diversity education, civic engagement, and fostering the leadership skills necessary to develop global citizens. In addition to our Diversity & Social Justice Education and International Education units, OIIR includes six cultural and resource centers: the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center, Asian American Cultural Center, La Casa Cultural Latina, LGBT Resource Center, Native American House, and Women’s Resources Center

Scholarships for International Study: Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to enable students of exceptional promise in the areas of academic achievement, leadership/public service, and critical- thinking ability, who have shown a will to succeed but whose financial situation might prevent them from entering and completing graduate or professional education, to do so. The scholarship may be used for study in any field, at any accredited university in the United States or abroad. Scholarships are open to students from all academic backgrounds, but the student must demonstrate an appreciation for or participation in the arts and humanities.

Spurlock Museum of World Cultures
Opened in 2002, the Spurlock Museum holds an impressive collection of culturally rich artifacts. South America: "Commonalities in Diversity"permanent exhibit. At nearly 50,000 objects, the Spurlock Museum Artifact Collection seeks to document the human condition from all time periods and locations.
