Biography
Since 1961 I have done ethnographic research in the Lowland Areas of Ecuador and Colombia, Both coastal and Amazonian. My research has focused on Afrodescendant peoples of coastal Ecuador and Colombia and Amazonian indigenous Canelos Quichua and Achuar Jivaroan peoples of Amazonian Ecuador
